About

About Golang College

We help developers master Go with a focus on how it's actually used in production — helping you write clean, maintainable, and idiomatic Go code.

Our Story

Golang College was created by two passionate, experienced Go developers who share a common vision: to teach Go programming the way it's actually used in production environments.

With over 18 years of programming experience each, starting from early high school, we've seen the evolution of software development and understand what it takes to build production-ready applications. Our journey in Go spans more than a decade, during which we've built high-performance systems, worked on embedded systems, and solved real-world problems at scale.

We noticed a gap in Go education—too many resources focus on syntax and basics, but few teach the practical patterns, best practices, and production techniques that make the difference between code that works and code that excels. That's why we created Golang College: to bridge that gap and help developers write clean, maintainable, and idiomatic Go code.

Our Mission

Teach Go the way it's used in production

We believe that learning Go shouldn't stop at syntax. Our books and resources focus on real-world patterns, production best practices, and the kind of code that scales. Whether you're building microservices, embedded systems, or high-performance APIs, we're here to help you write Go code that's not just correct, but excellent.
